The bow-tie has become a ubiquitous fashion statement and as such it has become a little too common in the 'style' arena. John here has teamed his bow-tie with a dress shirt and a corduroy jacket with a large wale. By adding the corduroy the look becomes more daytime and works. It has become more professor-like and less evening dress. I like the way he is wearing his i-D on his trousers so as not to ruin his look. The small holdall is a nice size and shape.
